Kotoko hope to sign Medeama supremo Kwasi Donsu and are prepared to pay the full price to trigger his buy-out clause.

GHANAsoccernet.com can report that Executive Chairman of the Ghanaian giants Dr Kwame Kyei has put the talisman at the centre of his plans to strengthen the squad.

Dr Kyei is said to have mentioned Donsu when describing the club's ambitions on the pitch to interim coach Michael Osei.

Donsu scored 15 goals in 26 appearances for the Yellow and Mauves last term and had paid dividends in other areas as well.

The popularity of the former Berekum Arsenals midfielder has skyrocketed since he joined Medeama two seasons ago.

The Porcupine Warriors are anxious to freshen up their squad ahead of the new season and have identified the free kick expert to turn the scale.

The Kumasi-based side have not won the League crown in two years and continue to play catch-ups on the continent.

They are keen to rediscover their continental touch after struggling to qualify for Africa's inter-club competitions over the years.
