Kotoko play Faisal on Sunday in league coronation

Accra, July 16, GNA - Kumasi Asante Kotoko will engage fellow city rivals King Faisal in a coronation match in honour of their 2007/2008 Onetouch Premier League feat on Sunday, July 20 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.

The match which is being organized by the Professional League Board will see the victorous Kotoko team presented with the league trophy after the game.

Kweku Ampin-Darko, Deputy General Secretary in charge of Technical Affairs of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in a release copied to the GNA Sports said that GH 3 cedis and GH 5 cedis will be charged at the Popular Stand/Centre Line and VIP/Wings respectively.

He said the modest gate rates is to ensure maximum patronage of the match and to as well show appreciation to the Kumasi football fans for their support for PLB programmes throughout the season. Mr Ampim-Darko added that fans will be entertained by Hip-life sensation Kwaw Kese a.k.a "Abodam" and Highlife veteran Nana Tuffour at the stadium.

Gates will open at 10.00 am and urged all football loving and the huge following of the 'Porcupine Warriors' and Faisal to come in their numbers to share in the glory.
