Kotoko new coach Dramani working behind the scenes

In-coming Asante Kotoko head coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani says he has been key in the club's pre-season despite his absence.

Dramani, who holds a UEFA licence B and A coaching certificates, is preparing Ghana's team for the 2012 FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup finals in Azerbaijan.

He will miss the pre-season Top 4 tournament and will be absent from the bench if the Black Maidens qualify to the quarter-final of the competition.

''I have been meeting and speaking with my colleague coach, Maxwell Konadu on numerous things regarding the way forward," Dramani said.

'' I have been instrumental in recruitment. I have been meeting with the Executive Chairman, Dr. Sarpong. Everything has been well-planned.

"We have come out with a pre-season programme.''

Dramani played for Real Tamale United and Ebusua Dwarfs before hanging up his boots in 2001.

He went to further his education at the University of Education, Winneba where he began picking his coaching certificates.

Dramani had a training attachment at English Premier League side Manchester City.
