Medeama head Coach Tom Strand has backed Asante Kotoko’s decision to fire David Duncan as reports continue to link him with a move to the Porcupine Warriors.

Strand who has never hidden his intention of managing the Porcupine Warriors in future threw his full weight behind management by claiming David Duncan has been given enough time to turns things around.

The Porcupine Warriors have endured a frustrating start to the season and are rooted to the bottom of the Ghana Premier League.

The defeat to Aduana Stars seems to be the final straw that broke the Camel’s back for Duncan.

And Strand affirms the former AshGold trainer has lost his magical effect.

““Is a good decision. "Duncan had many chances. They gave him a lot of time. They (Kotoko) have been fair to him." Honest truth!,” Strand is quoted by Ghanasportsonline.com

Strand has is currently in Sudan where his team in preparing to take on Al Shandi in the CAF Confederation Cup this weekend.
