Kotoko keeper set for Club Brugge trials

Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s goalkeeper Felix Annan has been handed a two-week trial with Belgian top flight side Club Brugge, Goal.com Ghana can confirm.

Goal.com can also confirm that Annan was supposed to leave the country on Tuesday but has had his Visa processing delayed forcing him to depart for Belgium by close of the week.

The Ghana Under-20 shot-stopper has been allowed by Kotoko to link up with Club Brugge for a two-week spell as Georges Leekens’ coaching staff want to cast an eye over the 19-year-old.

The former Feyernord goalie who has a year-and-half left in his contract with the Porcupine Warriors has made two appearances this season for Kotoko in October 2012 after having to compete throughout the season with Abdoulaye Soulama and Isaac Amoako for the number one spot of the defending Premier League champions.

The 19-year-old was part of Ghana’s U20 team that won silver in the 2013 Africa Youth Championship in Algeria.
