Kotoko increase bonus for players ahead of Eulma clash

Asante Kotoko have promised an enhanced bonus package of $600 to their players if they manage to beat MC El Eulma on Sunday.

The Ghanaian giants require a win against the Algerian club in order to progress to the next round of this season’s CAF Champions League.

Kotoko secured a goalless draw against Eulma in the first leg encounter between the sides almost three weeks ago.

This means a win for the Kumasi-based side will be more than enough to see them through on Sunday.

The club’s management in its bid to motivate their players ahead of the game have decided to increase their incentive package from $400 to $600.

“We initially promised to give the players $400 but we have decided to increase it to $600 should we qualify to the next stage of the competition,” Kotoko’s Operations Manager George Kennedy revealed at a press conference.

Kotoko are eager to make at least the group stage of this year’s CAF Champions League.
