Bechem United star, Kofi Bekoe, is on the shopping list of defending Ghana league champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Management of Kotoko have commenced intensive talks with the player to persuade him to make the switch by next season.

Bekoe is a talented footballer who was once a household name in Egypt, where he featured prominently for Petrojects.

He returned home last season and signed on the dotted lines for Bechem United where he has been hitting the headlines with his impressive form.

Bekoe tormented the Kotoko defencemen when Bechem United locked horns with the Porcupine Warriors in Kumasi recently.

Kotoko’s management members who were highly impressed with Bekoe’s output, opened talks with the player immediately the game ended.

Even though no deal has been reached yet, DAILY GUIDE SPORTS understands that talks between the two parties look fruitful so far.

Kotoko management want to assemble a winsome team for next season and they see Bekoe as a huge asset to their ambitions.

The paper learnt that Bekoe is delighted with the interest in him by Kotoko, obviously a big club on the African continent.

Sources intimated that Kotoko officials are cock sure that very soon Bekoe would agree a deal with the Porcupine Warriors.

DAILY GUIDE SPORTS also gathered that Kotoko are hunting for more stars in the league to boost their squad even before the current season ends.
