Kotoko fans promise war if

A section of Kumasi asante Kotoko fans are urging the management of the club to desist from bringing Bernard Don Bortey to the club next season.

It was reported that, the former Hearts of Oak player and now Aduana stars striker Bernard Don Bortey will move to the camp of Asante Kotoko next season.

This was confirmed by a high ranking member in the Kumasi Asante Kotoko management, who indicated that all formalities regarding the player’s transfer is almost sealed.

Some of the fans of Kotoko who believe the player has once disrespected the club by allegedly taking enticement fee and later signing for Hearts of Oak, have vowed not to take it lightly with the management if they signed the striker next season.

Don Bortey last year openly expressed his interest in playing for Kumasi Asante Kotoko after serving Accra Hearts of Oak for nine years.
