Kotoko deny Barcelona trials for Inkoom

defender Samuel Inkoom to a two-week trials with Spanish giants Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

The Ghanaian champions have officially stated that no club has written to them requesting the release or showing interest in the Ghana youth international.

"Nobody has come forward for any of our players and it should be understood that we would not release our players just like that," Chairman Sylvester Asare-Owusu told the club's newspaper.

The 19-year-old right had a successful season with the Porcupine Warriors and earned a call-up into the national Under-20 team.

He has also been linked to another Spanish side Valencia but the club say it is untrue.
