Kotoko circles to hold emergency national meeting

Kumasi, Jan 15, GNA - The Supporters Union (Circles) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football Club will hold an emergency national delegates meeting in Kumasi on Saturday, January 24.

A release issued in Kumasi on Thursday and signed by Mr Godfred Boateng, National Circles Secretary, said the meeting to be attended by two delegates from each circle is to discuss the deliberations at the recently held meeting with the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. The release said the delegates would also be briefed about a planned dinner and awards night for the players of Kotoko who brought honours to the club during this season.

It urged the circles to marshal their supporters to make their contributions of 150,000 cedis towards the successful hosting of the awards night.

The release also asked members of the National Council Executive to ensure that they also present their contributions of 100,000 cedis each to enable the Council organise the dinner and awards night on schedule.
