Kotoko beat Dwarfs 1-0 in a friendly match

Cape Coast, Aug 9, GNA - Kumasi Asante Kotoko gained a narrow 1-0 win over Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs in a friendly football match at Robert Mensah Stadium, Cape Coast on Sunday.

The match forms part of preparation being made by Dwarfs towards the Premier League which kicks off in September 2010.

Daniel Nii Agyei scored the winning goal in the 35th minute through a spot kick.

Dwarfs matched their opponents squarely but poor finishing upfront denied them of any goals till the final whistle.

The home team are one of the teams to have qualified to participate in the Premier League and they used the occasion to feature some of their newly recruited players.
