Kotoko arrive in Accra ahead of Congo trip

Kotoko have arrived in Accra and will hold a training session at Ajax Park at the University of Ghana campus on Sunday afternoon.

The Porcupine Warriors touched down in the capital on Sunday ahead of their trip to Congo Brazzaville on Monday.

Kotoko jet off to the Central African country Monday morning to face CARA Club in the second leg game of the first preliminary round on Wednesday.

Coach Steven Polack and his men have pitched camp in Accra ahead of the trip.

The team would spend the night in the capital and leave for Togo on Monday morning to connect to Brazzaville.

Kotoko hold a slim 1-0 advantage heading into the second leg and must avoid defeat against CARA to be able to advance to the next stage of the competition.

The Porcupine Warriors are representing Ghana in the Confederation Cup after emerging champions of the 2017 MTN FA Cup.
