Kotoko, Lions Game Rained Off

The rescheduled PLB special knockout match between Kpando Heart of Lions and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at Kpando was rained off yesterday.

Referee William Quaye abandoned the match in the 26th minute after hours of heavy downpour that made ball control difficult.

The game will be honoured today in accordance with the Ghana Football Association?s rules and regulations.

The Professional League Board rescheduled the match at the instance of Kotoko.

The winner will join Hearts, King Faisal and Sekondi Hasaacas for the semi-final in the maiden competition.

Hearts registered a slender 2-1 win over Tema Real Sportive, Faisal shocked Ashgold by a lone goal while Hasaacas silenced Berekum Arsenal 2-0.
