Kotoko-Faisal Feud Jeopardizes Illiasu's move

Arsenal could be deterred from signing Ghana defender Shila Illiasu by a dispute over the player's registration.

The centre-back, who played all of the Black Stars' World Cup matches, has been on trial with the Gunners, and is thought to have impressed manager Arsene Wenger.

However, although the player now plays for Kotoko, his previous club Faisal are claiming a cut of any potential transfer fee.

Should such a row develop, Wenger may be put off making a bid for the player, and may pursue other alternatives.
