Kofi Abanga Signs For Kotoko

Sunyani, July 4, Space FM - Aduana Stars' utility player Kofi Abanga, has finally signed a three year deal with Kumasi Asante Kotoko starting from July 1, 2007. The player starts training with his new team today.Abanga had previously been linked with moves to Accra Hearts Of Oak, Liberty Professional and Ashgold.

Along the line, Aduana Stars said they wanted the best for the player and that any team which had interest in Abanga should be ready to part with at least ¢150,000,000.00

Confirming the move, the Chief Executive of Aduana Stars, Mr Kingsley Osei Bonsu, aka Lord Zico, told Space FM in Sunyani that the player phoned him with the new deal.

He however said he is still waiting for documentation of the contract to enable the two teams sort out what is due Aduana Stars.
