Willie Klutse, Technical Director of Inter Allies Football Club has backed stand-in coach of the Black Stars, Maxwel Konadu to succeed in his new role.
Speaking in interview with Happy Fm, Klutse said, Konadu has the requisite experience and qualification to lead the Black Stars to success in their two games against Guinea.
He said the task assigned to the former Kotoko coach is a big challenge for him and other Ghanaian coaches and he was convinced he live up to the task.
“We the local coaches have a lot of confidence in him and we believe he will live up to expectation.
“The Retired National Players Association of Ghana will give him all the needed support to succeed as the coach of the Black Stars”. He stated.
He added that, the decision of the former coach James Kwesi Appiah to back the stand-in coach to succeed was indication of the level of trust they have in him.
“His former boss has expressed a lot of confidence in him and that will make his job much easier”. He stated.
Coach Konadu, will lead the Stars in a double header game against Guinea in Morocco on October 10, and in Tamale on October 15, in search of qualification to the 2015 Nations Cup in Morocco early next year.
