Kitase, (E/R), Aug. 9, GNA - Kitase Action Boys FC beat visiting Pak= ro ODECK F/C 2-0 in their colts football match played at Kitase at the weekend= .. Centre-forward Yaw Amponsah scored the first goal in the 20th minute from a header while striker Joe Mensah made it two for the Kitase Boys in the dying minutes of the game from a corner-kick. The results of other matches played were, Pakro ODECK Under-12 drew 0-= 0 with Kitase Action Boys at the Pakro Public Park while Kitase Under-14 also drew goalless against Pakro ODECK F/C.

In a related development, Ayibontey Mighty Babies beat Sumkrom Red Lions F/C 2-1 in a friendly match played at Ayibontey. Defender Aboah Kofi scored the opening goal in the seventh minute through a spiot kick before Red Lion's striker Agbokovi equalised in the 22nd minute with a close range shot and Adu Samuel of Ayibontey Babies made it two from a goal mouth melee.
