King Faisal pip Africa Sports

Accra, Dec 11, GNA - Kumasi King Faisal on Sunday pipped Africa Sports of Cote d'Ivoire in the opener of the Otumfuo Invitational tournament at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi. The first half of the match recorded no scores, however Faisal raised the tempo of the game in the second half in their determination to carry the day and rightly fetched the match winner.

The invitational friendly involves six clubs from the West Africa sub-region and was organised at the instance of Otumfuo Osei Tutu, the Asantehene. Asante Kotoko, ASFAYennega of Burkina Faso, Nigerian champions, Enyimba and Ashantigold are the other contestants of the tournament sponsored by Phoenix Limited.
