King Faisal petition against Aduana dismissed

The Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association on Wednesday dismissed King Faisal’s petition against Aduana Stars.

The petitioner, King Faisal sought to have Aduana forfeit two matches played last season against Heart of Lions and Berekum Chelsea for failing and refusing to pay a cost of GH¢5,000 within the stipulated fourteen (14) before those matches.

Aduana were charged for violating of Articles 34(1) (L) and 39 (8) (b) of the Ghana Football Association General Regulations (GFA Regulations).

Last month, the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana FA ruled that the petition had no merit after its hearing into the matter but Faisal secured an injunction to prevent Congress from going ahead last Friday.

King Faisal were among the three relegated clubs for the 2013/2014 season were hoping to earn board room points for survival.
