King Faisal handed GH¢1,350 fine

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has whipped its disciplinary rod on Kumasi-based King Faisal for reporting late to the technical meeting for their match-day 5 Glo Premier League away tie against AshantiGold on October 28.

Faisal becomes the second club to be hit with a similar fine for late arrival to a premier league game this season. AshantiGold earlier suffered a similar punishment for reporting late for their match-day 1 away game to RTU at the Tamale Stadium.

King Faisal arrived for the pre-match meeting at about 11.30 GMT; thirty minutes after the stipulated reporting time for GFA organized matches.

Footy-Ghana.com can confirm that after assessing the match report from the officials appointed for the game, the Disciplinary Committee has inflicted a fine of GH¢1,350 on AshantiGold for reporting late for the match.

AshantiGold defeated King Faisal by a lone goal in the said match.
