Kevin-Prince Boateng in line for return

Kevin-Prince Boateng could make his long awaited return from injury for Portsmouth this weekend as he waits for news on his Ghana future.

The midfielder has been out for a greater part of the year after tearing his ankle ligament but was back in training on Tuesday and in line for a place in the Portsmouth side due to take on Tottenham Hotspurs in their FA semi-final meeting at Wembley this weekend.

The player was one of Portsmouth's best players before the injury knocked him out. He will now be hoping to stay fit in time for the World Cup after committing his international future to the Black Stars.

His transition from ex-Germany youth international to a Ghana international has taken unusually long but the GFA are still hopeful it will be done in time before Milovan Rajevac names his final squad for the tournament in May.
