Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has confirmed AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng will join the rest of the Black Stars squad on Monday.
The Germany-born is yet to make his home debut since switching allegiance to play for Ghana last year.
He was missing in action on Thursday when the team began training at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra although the Italian Serie A season ended last week.
“Kevin will join the team on Monday because I have spoken to him and he has the approval to join us late in camp,” Ghana coach Stevanovic told GHANAsoccernet.com
Boateng has not played for Ghana since September last year when he featured in the Black Stars 0-3 win at Swaziland in the 2012 Nations Cup qualifier.
He missed the double header in March against Congo and England under controversial circumstances.
