Easily the most supported club in the country, Gor fans thronged Nyayo stadium for the first impressions of the t in 2011 squad and were not disappointed as the side played with verve and vigour.

Odera was the second top scorer in the league last season and he showed why Gor signed him scoring the opener on 13 minutes. Signed from APR, Odhiambo was the architect beating two defenders on the flank before crossing the ball for Odera to head home.

Ghana got the equalizer on 40 minutes only for Gor to swiftly regain the lead through Collins Okoth whose freekick hit the woodwork and the keeper before nestling into the net.
