Kasoa Fauzan F/C wins

Kasoa Fauzan F/C beat Agona Swedru Fankobaa 2-0 in their second division league match played at the Swedru sports stadium last Sunday.

From the start of the game, Fauzan F/C outclassed their opponents in all departments, and led 1-0 at half time from a goal scored by outside right, Ekow Benson, in the 41st minute.

Fankobaa threw everything into attack and made frantic efforts to equalise but the able defenders of Fauzan kept them at bay.

On resumption, Fankobaa maintained pressure but their hopes of drawing level with Fauzan were shattered when substitute Yahaya Sumalia raised the tally to 2-0 in the 85th minute. In another match at Kasoa, God is Great F/C whipped Winneba Cecil Hunters 3-0.
