Ghanaian youth star Kasim Adam says he is happy with Real Mallorca’s lone goal victory over third-placed side Oviedo in the Spanish Segunda despite nursing an injury.

Kassim, 21, picked a knock last week in the side’s two all draw with Gimnastica and had to be laid off when the hosted Oviedo on Saturday evening.

Kasim who was on the bench for the entire duration of the game is hopeful of returning for their next game but says he is happy with their solitary win over Oviedo.

“The entire team is happy with the victory. We are on a mission to escape relegation and we need to win our remaining matches to achieve that,” Kasim told GHANAsoccernet.com

“Yes I picked a knock when we played last week so I was on the bench for the game. But I am happy we have won. Oviedo is a strong side, placed third on the table so we are happy with the win.”

The win means Real Mallorca are now 16th on the table out of 22 clubs with 14 matches to end the season.
