Karim Zito is yet to return a Toyota Fortuner belonging to Asante Kotoko following his departure from the club earlier this year.
The former Kotoko coach left the Porcupine Warriors in February and has since taken charge of AshantiGold SC in the Division One League.
Reports indicate that the vehicle, which formed part of his benefits during his time at the Kumasi-based club, has not yet been returned to Kotoko.
The situation is believed to be linked to unresolved financial matters between the two parties, with rumours suggesting the club still owes the coach about GH¢60,000 in compensation following his exit.
Zito has not publicly commented on the matter, while Kotoko has also remained silent on the issue.
Zito was appointed interim coach in April 2025 after a run of poor results, replacing Prosper Narteh Ogum. He went on to guide the club to victory in the MTN FA Cup and was later handed the job permanently with a contract running until 2027.
However, a difficult campaign in the Ghana Premier League, coupled with the club’s failure to retain the MTN FA Cup this season, increased pressure on the coach before he eventually stepped down.
During his time in charge, Zito recorded 17 wins in 39 matches, drawing 10 and losing 10.
