Kanu, Drogba coming…

… as Vit’s Instant Noodles powers Stars Soccer Fiesta Reloaded

New Vit’s instant Noodles, “the noodles that dance in your mouth” has reached an agreement with the organizers, Goldstar Consult, as the main title sponsor. The Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi this Sunday June 24 remains the venue for the event now known as Vit’s Stars Soccer Fiesta Reloaded with expectations that it will completely outstage last year’s edition.

According to Gold Consult CEO Sammy Anim Addo, the Celebrities would use the event to also champion a Peaceful campaign before, during and after this December’s Ghana general elections.

“The choice of the venue is to let the fans of Kumasi have the feel and fun attached to the worthy cause since part of the funds accrued will be channeled to support charity in Kumasi as has been the case for Accra fans since its inception,” Mr. Anim Addo noted.

In a related development, Kanu Nwankwo has confirmed his participation in this year’s Stars Soccer Fiesta reloaded following an Invitation by John Paintsil and Asamoah Gyan. Didier Drogba is also expected after been invited by Asamoah Gyan but he is yet to give full confirm after attending to some family issues. Activities planned to climax the Event are as follows :

1. Match A – Accra Media Vs Kumasi Media

2. Main match – Black Stars Vs Celebrities

3. Musical Performances before and after the game

4. Dinner and After Party at Golden Tulip Kumasi where some of the Stars who have been supporting this event for the past 5years will be Awarded.

Meanwhile, there will be a ROAD SHOW FROM ACCRA TO KUMASI Saturday 23rd June from 9am to 4pm. The Stars will parade their cars led by a police escort from Accra through Koforidua, Nkawkaw, Konongo Ejisu where there will be 15 minutes stop over for autographs and pictures with fans enroute to Kumasi. Sponsors : Vits Instant Noodles, Melcom, Glico General, Lucozade Sport. Partners: Asamoah Gyan Foundation, GFA and NCCE (National Commission for Civic Education).
