K. Asamoah grateful to God for successful surgery

Ghana and Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has expressed gratitude to God for undergoing a successful knee surgery.

Asamoah, who tweeted “Surgery was successful. Glory be to God. Will be back soon” on Thursday, is expected to return to action after four months.

The midfielder who missed Ghana’s two matches in the Afcon 2015 qualifiers, against Guinea and Togo, will miss the tournament as well in Equatorial Guinea.
