Juventus eulogize Asamoah on his 26th birthday

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah celebrated his 26th birthday on Tuesday, 09 December, 2014 and his club Juventus catalogued his contributions since joining in 2012.

A statement on the club’s website read: “Since swapping the black and white stripes of Udinese for those of Juventus in 2012, the Ghanaian midfielder has become a firm favourite of the club’s faithful.

“A sensational start to his Bianconeri career saw him instantly win the hearts of his new supporters courtesy of a stunning debut strike that set Juventus on the road to a thrilling Super Cup triumph over Napoli in Beijing.

“Since then, Asamoah has gone on to score four further goals, lift two Scudetto trophies and clock up over 7,000 minutes of action.

“Sadly he will be unable to join the team out at Juventus Stadium for this evening’s crunch Champions League fixture against Atletico Madrid after undergoing knee surgery, but there is no doubt he will be cheering us on in our quest to wrap up a last 16 spot.

All associated with Juventus Football club wish Asa many happy returns and hope to see him back in action as soon as possible.
