Jonathan Mensah: Bring on the Uruguayans!

Black Satellites Jonathan Mensah is in no doubt of Ghana’s chances of coming first in the ongoing 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt and tells *GHANA FOOTY* in Egypt of the Satellites intention of taking the Uruguayans to the cleaners when they meet in their final Group D fixture in Ismailia to make it three wins in three games.

Ghana has qualified for the round of 16 of the tournament and yet, would need to do battle with Uruguay to top the Group on Saturday, but for the player who plies his trade with Free State Stars in the South African ABSA Premiership, the Uruguayans would need something out of the ordinary to beat the Black Satellites.

He told *GHANA FOOTY*; “We are happy that we have won two of the two games that we have played in this competition but like Oliver Twist who always asked for more, we the Black Satellites are so eager to win all the games that we would play and for me, Uruguay would be in big trouble when we meet them on Saturday looking at the form that we are in now.”

“We want to win the trophy for the whole world to know that, Ghana has got a lot to offer since most of the people here are tipping us to win the Cup after watching us play so well against Uzbekistan and England.”

“We are playing to the instructions of the head coach (Sellas Tetteh) for which I believe has yielded very good results for all to see but as I told you earlier, we are more than determine to bring this trophy home.”

“I would want Ghanaians here and back home to continue remembering us in their prayers and by the Grace of the Lord Almighty; we know we would come home good.”
