JoeTex Assures Nigerians of Good Outing In Dakar

Ghanaian-born striker, Joetex Frimpong, has assured football fans in Nigeria, that Enyimba FC of Aba will advance into the group stage of the 2003 CAF Champions League.

Frimpong, who has scored four goals for the Nigerian champions in the competition stated that they are already focused on the second leg match in Dakar.

"We are preparing seriously for the match in Dakar. The entire squad is aware of the task ahead. We'll not disappoint Nigerians. The players know what is at stake," he said.

Enyimba are going to Dakar with a four goal advantage from the first leg.

The goals were scored by Frimpong, former U-17 international, Ndidi Anumunu, Muri Ogunbiyi and U-23 international, David Tyavkase, who played with Frimpong at relegated EL-Kanemi of Maiduguri.
