Joe Fameyeh set for top award

Striker Joel Fameye is the frontrunner to be named Most Promising Player for last season’s GN Bank Division One League.

The Asokwa Deportivo player is competing with Saliu Babawo (Ho Hot Steel FC) and Enoch Atta Agyei who played for Windy Professionals but has signed for Ghana Premier League side Medeama.

But Fameyeh is a huge favourite to win the award after scoring plenitude of goals for the Kumasi-based side.

He made his debut for the home-based Black Stars in the 2016 CHAN qualifier and bagged a brace in the 2-1 win over Ivory Coast in the first leg qualifier.

The first ever awards ceremony for the second-tier league will be held on Saturday, 12th December, 2015 at the Coconut Groove Hotel in Accra.
