J. Ayew scores, Kwarasey flops

In the English Premier League, Jeffrey Schlupp was an unused substitute at the Liberty Stadium when Swansea City beat Leicester City 2-0. In the Championship, Albert Adomah played the entire duration at the Riverside Stadium when Middlesbrough shared the spoils 1-1 with Watford.

In the Italian Serie A, Godsway Donsah saw full action at the Stadio Carlo Castellani when Calgliari won 4-0 away over Empoli. Parma’s poor start to the season continued as they were stunned 3-1 at Stadio Ennio Tardini by fellow strugglers Sassulo. Afriyie Acquah played 76 minutes before making way for Stefan Ristovski but Rahman Chibsah was an unused substitute for Sassulo.

Alfred Duncan was an unused substitute at the Communale Luigi Ferraris when Sampdoria drew 0-0 with A.S Roma.

In Spanish La Liga, Derek Boateng played full time for Eibar at the Estadio Municipal de Ipurua as they drew 1-1 by Granada.

Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman was in full action at the SGL Arena when Augsburg beat Freiburg 2-0 in the German Bundesliga. Kevin-Prince Boateng was not part of the Schalke squad that suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the Bay Arena against Bayer Leverkusen.

Jordan Ayew played full throttle and was also on target from the spot at the Stade Michel d'Ornano but his Lorient outfit suffered a 2-1 defeat against Caen in the French top-flight. Jonathan Mensah lasted the entire duration at the Parc des Sports when Evian TG suffered a 2-0 home defeat to Nantes.

In the Dutch Eredivisie, Kingsley Boateng was booked in the 90th minute and lasted the entire duration when Vitesse Arnhem drew 2-2 with Nac Breda at the GelreDome.

In the Swedish Allsvenskan, Nasiru Mohammed saw full action when B.K Hacken defeated Gefle 3-1 at the Gamla Ullevi. There was no Richard Donkor or Augustine Okrah in the Hacken setup.

In the Norwegian Eliteserien, goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey made two big mistakes allowing Haugesund to beat Strømsgodset 3-2 at the Haugesund Stadion. Midfielder Mohammed Abu was booked in the 30th minute and lasted the entire duration whiles fellow countryman Bismark Adjei-Boateng also lasted the full duration for Strømsgodset.

In the MLS, Samuel Inkoom was introduced in the 65th minute for Jared Jeffrey and he set up the equaliser for Fabian Epindola four minutes from time when DC United drew 1-1 with Montreal Impact at the Stade Saputo.
