It's Official: Ghana's Football Is Dead!

...as Ghana Sinks Deeper In Latest FIFA Rankings

"It's Official, Ghana's Football Is Dead!" that's what a Ghanaian soccer fan said after seeing the new FIFA world rankings.

"The rot will continue as far as we have a group of inept administrators at the helm of sports. I’m very sad and angry because we are being deprived of the one thing that brings us joy" he continued.

With World Champions Brazil still heading the field, followed by European Champions France, the only major news to report on the new FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking is how low the one time powerhouse and monarchs of Africa has sunk and continues to be sinking. The latest ranking has depicted a gloomy picture of the situation at hand.

Ghana dropped four places to 75th in the world. This is 20 places lower than, when the current GFA boss, Ben Koufie, took over at the helm. This is the worst Ghana ranking since the process was started in 1991. Ghana has fallen behind soccer minnows like, Mali, Burkina Faso, Thailand, New Zealand, Cuba, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Meanwhile, Cameroon maintained the lead as Africa’s best; Eight African countries make the top 50. Cameroon (13), Nigeria (27), Senegal (28), S. Africa (33), Morocco (36), Egypt (39), Tunisia (44). Zimbabwe (50)
