Inter to beat Newcastle for Kuffour

Inter are set to hijack Newcastle's bid to buy Bayern Munich's Ghana international Sammy Kuffour. The Geordies, desperate to halt their freefall, wanted Kuffour in January but the defender wants to wait until June when he can go to Inter on a free.
