Inter Milan swoop on Ghanaian quartet

Italian giants Inter Milan have confirmed four Ghanaian youngsters for their under-15 side ahead of the start of the season.

The striking trio of Freddy Loo, Said Ahmed Said and James Owusu Sekyere as well as defender George Cheremeh were all named in the 23-man squad on Friday.

Coach Massimo De Paoli selected the four Ghanaians after they impressed with the under-14 side of the Italian side last season.

Giovanissimi Nazionali side will start their pre-season preparation in the Italian resort of Chiavenna.

They will train at the local Campo Comunale until 24 August.

Inter Milan are keen on Ghanaian players after Mario Barwuah excelled with their under-15 side last season which resulted in his promotion to the first-team.

The Italian side are hoping that the quartet will follow in Barwuah’s footsteps.
