Impilo Ghana FC pip Madina United

By George Osei

Impilo Ghana FC exacted some amount of revenge after beating Madina United 3 ? 1 in a highly thrilling game played at the Madina Nsamanpom Park last week.

The Impilo Ghana team had earlier lost to the same opposition a couple of weeks ago, but an improved display on the day, won them the game as they continued with their preparations for the Eastern region 2nd division league set to start soon.

Impilo Ghana FC started the game on a fast note and their hard work was rewarded midway through the first session when enterprising Rajib Issah fired a low grounder past the Madina United goalie to open the scoring.

The lead was however short leaved as Madina United drew level moments later after a promising move was finished off brilliantly by Awudu Adama.

However, Suraj Rayies restored the lead for his side with five minutes to end the half when he connected a cross from the right.

The first session ended with the Impilo Ghana FC team up by two goals to one and they would further increase that tally in the second half.

Rajib Issah again was the hero as the new found striker made it 3 ? 1 early in the session to cap a good outing for the marksman who looked very promising on the day.

Impilo Ghana FC will continue with their preparations for the upcoming season in the Eastern Region with a couple more friendly games this week as the handlers of the team seeks a fair idea of their state of readiness for their campaign.
