Upcoming evergreen Ghanaian coach Ibrahim Tanko has hinted that his doors are open for offers from any club in the country that is willing to hire his services.

The former assistant coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon has been out of post for close to a year after his marriage with the Cameroonian Football Federation collapsed.

The former SC Freiburg and FC Koln assistant coach was a hired scout for the Ghana Black Stars before the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and his contribution brought about Ghana’s best game in the competition.

Tanko in an interview with Joy FM in Accra revealed that he is ready to take up the mantle to coach any team in the country if only he is approached.

“I am ready to coach any team in Ghana once I am approached with the offer. I started from here and I must give back if only I am needed,” Tanko said.

“My doors are open to any club that is interested.”

“I have a dream to coach the Black Stars but for now I am ready to coach any club,” he added.

With the shambolic performance of Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the league and the increasing pressure on Coach David Duncan, reports in the media are linking the top notch Ibrahim Tanko to the coaching job of the Porcupine Warriors.
