I was determined to score against Djurgarden - Donyoh

Ghana Under-23 prospect Godsway Donyoh has said he was so determined to score against his former club Djurgarden IF and did just that as Falkenberg beat them 1-0.

The 19-year-old forward who is on loan from Manchester City netted in the 93rd minute to give the minnows the much needed victory on Monday in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

“I felt great after scoring the winning goal but couldn't celebrate because I wanted to be loyal to my former club Djurgarden,” Donyoh told Goal Ghana. “I was really determined to score against them and it was good I did just that.”

Donyoh added: “I am expecting to score more goals and also help my club to win many games in the league; we are playing Norrkoping this weekend.”

The striker featured for Djurgarden on loan last season where he was mainly used as a left winger, but Manchester City gave him to Falkenberg who use him as a No. 9.
