Swansea City Andre Ayew has revealed he had good offers before accepting Unibank’s offer as brand ambassador.

The 26-year-old has become the bank’s leading marketing tool for the next five year.

He replaces Shanghai SIPG star and Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan who was contracted for two years

Ayew told Starr FM Sports: “I had offers from other banks and some respected institutions but I am the type who believes in taking the right decision so I took my time and settled on uniBank,” Ayew mentioned in an interview with Starr FM Sports.

“I am very ambitious and I also see the same ambition with uniBank.

“The relationship will help the two parties. uniBank has an international appeal. It’s one of the fastest growing banks in Ghana and I am really delighted to be the face of such a bank.”

Ayew had a successful debut season in the English Premier League where he emerged top scorer for the Swans with 12 goals in 34 league matches.
