I’m no longer a chatterbox – Kotoko coach Duncan

New Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan has served notice to the media he has learnt his lessons from the past for prattling and will no longer want to be a victim.

Duncan was unveiled in Kumasi Thursday after signing a two-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors Wednesday.

Speaking to the media, the former Hearts of Oak coach admitted chattering cost him his job with his previous employers and has turned on a new leaf.

According to him, he will limit himself to “only pre and post-match interviews” and will leave the rest to the communication officers to handle.

“I’ll stop talking,” the ex-Free State Stars coach admitted to claims that he is a chatterbox.

“People say I talk too much,” Duncan averred. “I will stop it because I’m not the communication officer of Asante Kotoko.”

He added: “I have never been introduced like this in all my coaching life even though I have been appointed by big clubs like this… I’ve to work like I’ve never done.”

“Kotoko has a new personality who will lead the technical team…” the General Manager, Opoku Nti, said.

“I commend Michael Osei who held the fort after Didi’s exit… Our expectation is that, he leads us [successfully]” he added.

Duncan has previously coached Ashanti Gold and Great Olympics in Ghana. He replaces Mas-ud Didi Dramani, who severed ties with the Fabulous club last month after a run of poor results.
