Leicester City and Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey has expressed his love for Manchester United but ready to battle them when the English Premier League season starts in August.

The 22-year-old signed a four year deal with the foxes from Danish Champions FC Copenhagen.

Amartey had an impassive season after joining the Club in the second half of the season making seven League appearances.

“I support Manchester United, I’ll be happy to play against them next season.” He told Starr Sports.

The youngster played a role in the Black Stars AFCON 2017 qualification and he is set to join the English Champions for pre-season after spending time in Ghana for holidays.

Amartey becomes the second Ghanaian alongside Jeffery Schlupp to have won the Premier League title apart from Michael Essien.

Meanwhile, the former Inter Allies stalwart defender will be hoping to cement a place in the first team next season.
