Ghanaian right back Samuel Inkoom has showered praises on his former Black Stars team mates at the 2010 FIFA World Cup as he labels them as leaders.

The Black Stars made history in the tournament, going all the way to the quarter finals in South Africa after losing to Uruguay on penalties.

In a trip down the memory lane for the 30 year old, he described the feeling of playing in the tournament as amazing and added that it is the dream of every player to play in the tournament.

"I loved this squad, each player was a skipper, looking out for each other," he told Sports Tourism Media co-editor Ramy Salameh.

"The atmosphere and feeling of playing in a World Cup was amazing, indescribable. Yes, it is every players’ dream to play in a World Cup or in the Champions League."

Samuel Inkoom made 44 appearances for the Black Stars and scored one goal.
