Ghana international and AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng says he will never play for any German club again after his ‘sad’ departure from Schalke 04.

The 28-year-old also played for Hertha Berlin and Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga but had difficult times at Schalke which ended in an indefinite suspension last year.

Boateng joined Milan in January until end of the season.

“I have closed the door on Germany,” Boateng told SID.

“I am not sad about it, just disappointed that everything went so haywire at Schalke in the second year.

“Of course [I may be looking for a new club], I want to play more. I just want to show what I

“I think everyone does crazy things in life. I'm someone who likes to live it up. Everyone thinks footballers have a great life and drive great cars, but sometimes you have to pull the veil away and look behind.

“My book should help do that,” he concluded.

Boateng has been capped 15 times for Ghana but last played for the Black Stars during the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil after he was sacked from camp with teammate Sulley Ali Muntari for showing "gross insubordination" to the technical team.
