Huddersfield Town look set to be without the services of Ghanaian attacker Elvis Manu for Saturday’s trip to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The Championship side acquired the services of Elvis on a six month loan deal in the winter transfer window but look set to be denied of the former Feyenoord teen sensation due to illness.

Manu joined David Wagner’s men from Brighton but could be sidelined for a while as he races against time for the trip to Forest.

The 22-year-old former Feyenoord attacking debut was handed his debut for Huddersfield Town over the weekend but has since been confined to the treatment room due to a battle with illness.
Coach of the championship side David Wagner bemoaned the potential absence of his Ghanaian forward ahead of weekend’s trip to Forest.

“Elvis Manu has been ill since Saturday so we will assess him. We know we have missed something to get the results.
We let in fewer goals in our unbeaten run and we must get back to that”, David Wagner told reporters ahead of Forest clash.

Manu starred prominently for Dutch Eredivese side Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions league before joining the bus to English football.

Nine appearances and one goal with Brighton in the opening six months a loan move to Huddersfield on a six month deal for the Dutch born Ghanaian.
