Hopefuls to be interviewed today

Accra, Sept. 6, GHP -The three candidates for the post of Ghana's national team coach are due to be interviewed today. at 14:00GMT

Frenchmen Claude Leroy and Philippe Troussier and Ghanaian Cecil Jones Attuquayefio are competing to replace Serbian Ratomir Dujkovic, who resigned in July after the Black Stars' successful showing at the FIFA World Cup in Germany.

The identity of the new coach will be announced on Wednesday, the Ghanaian Football Federation said.

The new coach would be handed an initial two-year contract subject to renewal based on the coaches performance.

The three coaches were shortlisted from a tall list of 54 applicants who had expressed an interest in managing the senior national team, the Black Stars.

Ghana?s coaching job has been vacant following the resignation of Ratomir Dujkovic in July.
