Home Stars thrash Maxbees

Cape Coast, Dec.3, GNA- Ho Home Stars played a determined game to beat Suhum Maxbees 2-0 in their sub middle league match played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Kicking under the instruction of class one referee, Kofi Antwi, Home Stars started strongly and opened the scoring through centre forwards Issaka Razak, in the 28th minute.

Maxbees, finding the going very tough, resorted to rough house tactics and they paid dearly for it, when two of their midfield attackers, Ali Mustapha and Theophilus Tagoe, were red-carded for violent cond! uct in the 30th and 36th minutes.

Home Stars, resumed strongly and made victory certain through their centre half, Charles Dzisa in the 46th minute.
