Herbert Addo promises to beat Kotoko in Accra

Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo has promised a different approach in Sunday’s Super 2 friendly match against Asante Kotoko in Accra.

A goal from Ivorian returnee Ahmed Toure and newly-signed striker Dauda Mohammed was enough as Kotoko grabbed a morale boosting 2-0 win over the Phobians in Kumasi.

There is immense pressure on Hearts to respond in the return leg.

“There are no friendly games when it comes to Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko,” Addo said.

“When you look at the Kotoko team they have been together for some time now whiles we are a side under transition.

“We are not giving excuses but I can tell you that we have kept the defeat behind us and the game in Accra will be a different ball game all together.”
