Former head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mohammed Polo says the current head coach of the club Herbert Addo is currently benefitting from the hard work he did during his stay with the capital based club.
Mohammed Polo was appointed the head coach of Hearts of Oak in the middle of last season after the Phobians parted ways with David Duncan in a controversial manner wth most of the club’s fans questioning the decision.
However, Mohammed Polo failed to get the fans on his side due to some of his unwarranted comments against the fans after the he failed to challenge for the league title during his era at the club’s bench.
But the outspoken ex national star has stated that, the great performance being displayed by Hearts of Oak in the ongoing season are due to the hard work job he did during his stay at the club.
“I believe in the fact that someone must initiate for another to continue. But it is always important for the one continuing to recognize your work,” Polo told Sportscrusader.
“I inherited a depleted and confused Hearts of Oak side but I did my best to pull the team together. And today, that is exactly what Herbert Addo is reaping the benefits," he continued.
"Anyone who has followed the club for some time will tell you that Herbert is reaping the results of my hard work,” Polo added.
