Following their one-all drawn game against Okwawu United last Wednesday, Asante Kotoko’s captain, Joseph Hendricks, in desperation, cast insinuations against new colleague, Moses Tetteh after the game.

Hendricks is said to have told the player that he is not committed to the cause of Asante Kotoko. He also accused him of playing below expectation, a move that has been described as very unprofessional on the part of the captain.

Sources told myjoyonline.com that the rest of the team did not take Hendricks’ accusations lightly. Hendricks reportedly commands some clout that is breeding fear in the rest of the playing body. In the heat of embarrassing the youngster, the rest of the playing body ganged up against him and shut him down.

Wingback Aziz Ansah who tried to cool down tempers by advising Tetteh not to respond to whatever accusations being leveled against him also faced the brut of Hendricks. His charge was that he spoke to Moses Tetteh in a different dialect that Hendricks did not understand.

Asante Kotoko’s assistant coach, Frimpong Manso not happy with the turn of events in the bus reportedly shouted on top of his voice to compel the raging players to calm down and that brought some sanity in the bus.

Further investigations have revealed that Kotoko’s technical handlers have had problems with Joe Hendricks’ indisciplinary acts.

Prior to Asante Kotoko’s departure for Kpando to play against Hearts of Lions, Hendricks sought permission to join the team bus at a point. Although he managed to get his way, the move compelled the technical handlers to keep him on the bench on the match day.

Things appear not to be going down well with the team as coach Razak has been accused of closing his ears to any form of advice. The club last week, was slated to loan out some players but the current trend of events has forced the management to put on hold that decision.
